I'm Jenna! I'm the girl behind the camera. I'm so glad you've made your way here. I know searching for a photographer can be a daunting task, and it has just as much to do with personality as portfolios. So, to help you get to know me better, here are the things that are most important in my life...
I'm married to Joshua (but I call him Joshy). He's a video game guru and tech geek. He works part time with his dad, and the rest of the time he's a stay-at-home dad and house husband, taking care of our son plus all the laundry and grocery shopping. And he's hot. Yeah, I know I'm lucky.
We are proud parents to a five year old son Clark, who will soon out grow me with his math skills. He's a ball full of energy and loves to eat pancakes. And, in January 2017 we welcomed our second son, Oliver. We are loving life as a family of four! Fun fact: We named them after super heroes (bonus points if you know which ones!)
I was born and raised here in Middle Tennessee. We live on the farm with nearly all of my extended family just a stone’s throw away. There have been as many as five generations living on the farm at one time, and it’s the source of most of my inspiration. Recently, I even added a white ink tattoo of the TN state flag to my right arm. Soon, we hope to build our forever home on our family's century old farm and turn it into our own little slice of Heaven.
When I was a sophomore in high school, I saved my money and bought myself a “clicky” camera. Since then, photography has been a way of life. In 2007, after I received my degree in photography, I began working full time for myself.
As a photographer, I pour my heart into the weddings and sessions I shoot, and my top priority is creating gorgeous, timeless images with genuine emotions that my clients and the future generations will cherish.
Just being me
An obsession with yellow pencils, bad luck with all technology, a terrible sense of smell, punny jokes and two white ink tattoos... these are the little quirks that make me who I am. Sometimes I’m a little bossy, sometimes I’m a little weird. I’m good at decorating, I’m bad at math, and I’m awful at singing. On any given day, I’m likely to be wearing a striped shirt. And of all the holidays, Valentine’s Day is my very favorite.
Sound like we could be friends? Let's chat! I'd love to hear what's important to you.
